The Way We Worship and Why

Our Sunday morning worship service is an "open" service with a mixture of song, scripture reading, prayer, sharing and teaching from the Bible. We believe in the priesthood of all believers, that we all have been given gifts, (abilities), from God for the benefit of the body. We wish to give everyone the opportunity to use those gifts, so that the body may be built up in Love.                                                    Ephesians 4:1-6, I Peter 2:9, I Corinthians 12:13

                                                                                                   About Openness and Sharing

We welcome all to participate by requesting or initiating songs, sharing what God is doing in your lives, requesting and initiating prayer and by responding to the teaching of our leadership team. We ask that you be considerate of others, by not interrupting or dominating the service. All sharing should be for the building up of others. All truths presented as from God will be verified by scripture.            Acts 17:11, I Corinthians  14:26

                                                                                                           Giving and Offerings

We believe that giving financially is between the individual, (or family), and God. Giving should be done as an offering and sacrifice to God, with an attitude of thankfulness and willingness. We do not take up an offering, but instead provide a box at the back of the room in which people can place gifts.

As a church, we trust in God to lead His people to give as needs arise. The most important gift to God is the sacrifice of ourselves in service to Him.      Matthew 6:3-4, Luke 6: 38, Acts 20:35, Romans 12:8, II Cor. 9:7
